Why should I choose dental implants?

Choosing dental implants isn't just about filling a gap in your smile — it's about reclaiming your confidence and oral health. Implants are designed to look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth.

Unlike removable options, an implant is anchored in your jawbone to provide stable support when you eat or speak. It also helps reduce the bone loss that usually follows a missing tooth. While implants might seem like a bigger investment upfront, their durability and the long-term benefits to your oral health make them a smart choice for many patients.

3D Planning for Implants

We use cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). CBCT imaging gives a 3D view of your bone so we can plan where each implant goes. Implants replace the tooth root as well as the visible crown.

All-on-X Implants

Transform your smile and quality of life with our comprehensive All-on-X solution. Using strategic implant placement, we can replace an entire arch of teeth with just 4-6 implants. This technique can give you a fixed, natural-looking set of teeth. An exam and scan show whether you're a candidate.

The Benefits of Dental Implants

Why many patients choose implants to replace missing teeth.

Natural Feel & Function

Dental implants closely replicate your natural teeth, allowing you to brush, floss, and eat with ease.

Aesthetically Pleasing

Each implant crown is tailored to match your existing teeth in shape, size, and color, so your new tooth is designed to blend in naturally.

Preserves Oral Health

Made from biocompatible titanium, they integrate with your jawbone, which helps reduce bone loss and support your facial structure.

Implant Solutions

Single Tooth Implants

Replace a missing tooth with an implant designed to look, feel and work like a natural tooth: a fixed base for a custom crown.

Bone Grafting

Proper preparation is key. We offer bone grafting, a vital procedure for enhancing bone density and supporting implant stability.

Implant Retained Dentures

Combines the stability of implants with the convenience of dentures. The denture snaps onto implants placed in the jaw, so it slips far less than a standard denture.

The Implant
Treatment Process

1

Placement

Once we've confirmed your treatment plan, we'll schedule your oral surgery. We make a precise incision and carefully place the titanium implant into your jawbone. This sets the foundation.

2

Healing & Osseointegration

The incision heals quickly, but full integration with your jawbone takes about 3-6 months. We'll monitor your progress to check that it's healing as expected.

3

Applying the Restoration

The final phase. We make a custom crown, matched to your natural teeth, and attach it securely to the implant to complete your new tooth.

Frequently Asked Questions

A single tooth implant is a modern solution for replacing a missing tooth. It consists of a titanium rod surgically placed into your jawbone, and a custom-made crown attached to the rod. Unlike removable options, implants are fixed in place, offering stability and comfort that closely mimics natural teeth.

The implant post is made from medical-grade titanium. The crown is custom-made for each patient, often using durable porcelain for its natural appearance and strength, based on detailed impressions of your teeth.

With proper placement and care, dental implants can last for decades. The crown attached to the implant may need replacement over time due to normal wear and tear. Regular check-ups help ensure they remain in good condition.

While uncommon, implants can develop an infection known as peri-implantitis if proper oral hygiene isn't maintained. Following post-operative care and maintaining good daily hygiene minimizes this risk.

They help. When a tooth is lost, the jawbone in that spot shrinks without stimulation. An implant acts like a tooth root and passes chewing forces to the bone, which helps it keep its shape.

In some cases, it's possible to receive an implant and a temporary restoration in a single day. This allows for normal function while your implant heals. We'll determine if you're a candidate during your consultation.

Through January 31, 2027, our Dental Implant Package is $2,500 for patients paying on their own (self-pay; not valid with dental insurance). New and existing patients can use it. Included: Consultation, 3D CBCT scan, implant, abutment, and crown. Does not include bone graft, membrane, or extraction. It is not an All-on-X or full-arch price. If you need anything else, the dentist will go over that cost with you after your exam.
